For Programs
Â
A starting point for students and new grads who learned how to think, not what to do. While often used in academic transition programs, North is increasingly used by professional teams navigating role clarity and deployment challenges.
Where North Is Most Useful
Moments of Transition
North works best when people are preparing to enter work, or when teams are navigating role clarity and contribution alignment.
It helps get them clear on how they contribute.
Common contexts:
- Humanities and liberal arts career programming
- Senior capstone or transition courses
- Career services and Honors program workshops
- Early-career onboarding or "first 90 days" support
- Professional teams seeking a faster ramp and clearer deployment
What Programs Gain
Outcomes You'll Notice
After running North, programs typically see:
- Students who can actually answer "what do you bring to the team?"Â
- Less anxiety about not having a technical skillÂ
- New grads who orient faster in their first roles
- A shared reference point that cohorts can return to
- Greater confidence in how employees describe their work
Not because you told people what to do. Because they finally had a reference point.
"I've been to half a dozen career workshops and never got this kind of clarity. These questions actually made me think differently about myself."
— Sarah K., Senior
Program Formats
Flexible by Design
North is a facilitated orientation experience powered by Cgility’s identity-based adaptive learning model.Â
Programs can start small and expand depending on depth and timing.
60-Minute Pilot - A focused introduction. Participants surface early patterns in how they work and how to talk about them. Best for initial exploration.
Half-Day Workshop - The full North experience. Participants move from clarity into application. Best for capstones, career courses, and cohort programs.
Full-Day Immersive - Deeper application and reflection. Best for intensive cohorts and early-career onboarding.
Ongoing License For organizations running North across multiple cohorts. Includes facilitator preparation and internal delivery support.
Most organizations begin with a pilot. If it resonates, we design what's next together.
What's Included
Beyond the Session
Depending on the format, programs receive:
- Facilitated sessions
- The Card for each participant
- Field guides for real situationsÂ
- Cohort debrief or facilitator notes on request
North is non-evaluative and sits alongside your existing programming. It doesn't compete with what you're already doing; it gives it a foundation.
Pricing
More Than a Workshop
Pilots typically range from $2,500 to $5,000, depending on cohort size and format.
Half-day, full-day, and institutional licensing options are available.
